Jany. 1890, retired Aug. 1890; member for Townsville 1888 to death; a delegate for Queensland to Australian federation convention in Sydney 1891. _d._ Sydney, N.S.W. 30 March 1891; the Queensland parliament voted £2000 to his widow.
