Birmingham 1879–1887; lectured at Mason’s coll. 1889; edited the Mason college magazine; a member of the Aristotelian society; travelled in the East 1887–8; purchased 114 Park st. Grosvenor sq. London Nov. 1888; endeavoured to form a Spencer society 1819; wrote scientific papers with the signatures of C. N., Constance Arden, and C.
