an inscription from a statue of an Olympic victor in two passages of his _Rhetoric_.[2493] This epigram was repeated by Aristophanes of Byzantion,[2494] who wrongly ascribed it to Simonides.[2495] Where this statue stood can not be determined. Of the fourth century B. C.:
