1. _The Day of searching examination_ or reckoning. The word

⁂⁂⁂ has to be compared with the Coptic ⲕⲱϯ in the sense of _search_, _enquiry_, ζητεῖν, ζήτησις. This sense is derived from ⁂⁂ _a circle_ (⁂⁂⁂ _sail round_) and the notion of going completely round a thing and approaching it from all sides.
