appearance is made at _Kauu_, ⁂⁂⁂⁂, the Canobic entrance to the Nile, which the Libyan invaders had taken possession of in the time of Rameses III (Great _Harris Pap._, 77, 2). The _transgression_ here disavowed is understood by some of the scribes as a violation of ritual precepts, such as those regarding sacred seasons.
